British Milled Coins to 1837

After 1662, a new process produced thicker and regular shaped coins by a process known as milling, including copper coins as well as silver and (rarer) gold coins.  We only sell coins produced before the decimalisation of the coinage in 1971.

If you are interested in buying any of the coins illustrated, please quote our Stock Number, beginning MC.
